Tianeptine sulfate 1224690-84-9 Usage
Tianeptine sodium is an antidepressant reported to act by increas-ing (rather than inhibiting) the presynaptic reuptake of serotonin. Tianeptine is an effective antidepressant with a previously unknown mechanism of action.
The sulfate salt of tianeptine can be used to provide pharmaceutical compositions for the treatment of conditions known in the art, such as one or more depressive disorders, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), one or more neurodegenerative diseases, and asthma.

Intrathecal pregabalin and tianeptine increased the mechanical withdrawal threshold in a dose-dependent manner, but intrathecal clopidogrel had little effect on the mechanical withdrawal threshold. An additive effect was noted between pregabalin and tianeptine, but not between pregabalin and clopidogrel.
