DL-Panthenol 16485-10-2 Usage

Panthenol (also called pantothenol) is the alcohol analog of pantothenic acid (vitamin B5), and is thus a provitamin of B5. DL-Panthenol is a natural ingredient, which is used in many skin care products such as facial creams, anti-ageing creams, moisturizers, eye shadows, mascaras, lipsticks and foundations. Panthenol (pro-vitamin B5) acts as a penetrating moisturizer. It is used in the topical treatment of skin disorders, such as minor irritations and skin burns. Also beneficial in wound healing and repairing the damaged cells and tissues.
