50-99-7 Usage

D(+)-Glucose anhydrous for biochemistry Reag. D(+)-glucose ,a short form of dextrorotatory glucose, is a stereoisomer of glucose molecule, which is biologically active and whose bottom chiral carbon has its hydroxyl group (OH) located spatially to the right. It is the most common naturally occurring simple sugar that the body can metabolize. D-Glucose is a natural product found in Gentiana orbicularis, Colchicum schimperi, and other organisms with data available.

Revealing the contributions of homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis to isomerization of D-glucose into D-fructose in the presence of basic salts with low solubility

Valérie Toussaint  and Irina Delidovich

Catal. Sci. Technol., 2022, 12, 4118-4127

The results of the filtration and contact tests for Li2CO3 are consistent with the results of the kinetic data. After removing the catalyst, D-glucose consumption and D-fructose formation were observed. According to the metal leaching results (Fig. S20 and S21†), the OH− ions are directly released into the aqueous solution after immersion of the catalyst into water and do not significantly increase during the reaction.

Catalytic wet air oxidation of D-glucose by perovskite type oxides (Fe, Co, Mn) for the synthesis of value-added chemicals

Simone Scelfo, Francesco Geobaldo, Raffaele Pirone, Nunzio Russo

Carbohydrate Research Volume 514, April 2022, 108529

The catalytic properties of LaFeO3, LaMnO3 and LaCoO3 perovskites for the synthesis of value-added chemicals through the CWAO of d-glucose have been studied.
